Maria, I so thought of you while watching him audition last night. What are they saying on the forums?
I think either crazy Dave or the fake and bake girl were my favorite. The fake and bake girl's audition got much better when they brought out her mom ~Mary~ |

hahaha... word rachel.
I watched it, but I was kind of bored by it. I found myself checking the clock and then doing other things while it played in the background. Sad. I did like this guy though: I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! But, I didn't shoot the deputy. I shot the sherriff! It was totally on for filler background noise while awaiting the premiere of Love Monkey in my house too.
Generally I hate these "here's what happened on the search" shows because you can only take hearing so much in the way of crap performance and it annoys me that they'd stretch it out into several episodes. So, generally, I won't even start watching it until they've weeded it out quite a bit...like down to the top 6 maybe. But I definitely recall thinking last night, "this is getting kind of ridiculous" and that they were scraping bottom. What was with that crazy DAVE with the eyes that looked mid-seizure when he sang getting put through to Hollywood. Good Lord, that was ridiculous! That one rather large black man that kept making up words to Lady Marmalade in the closing montage had me giggling quite a bit too...

The fake bake girl and her repeated attempts at hitting the note from Lady Marmalade was hilarious.
I love watching the auditions. I can't turn away! |

the guy who said he could hit every note and then went on to say that he could sing in medium, low and high... and kept confusing paula cracked me up. I had no idea what he was trying to get across. -kaleena |

^That guy was hilarious! I loved his made up montage, which really wasn't made up.
And who could forget the great rendition of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody? That girl absolutely ruined that song. Or they guy Simon said should put on a dress and be a girl? Or even BLUE MOON girl? But I agree with whomever mentioned that the sherriff was the best. I could not stop laughing when he came on. Whenever he sang "deputy" the way he sang it just made me crack up. But I did love the 17 year old who sang Sinatra. He had a great voice, and the looks to match. *****************

Mary, there's some mixed emotions. Some people are totally embarassed that he did that, most are excited and love him now.... Anytime the word "assyrian" is broadcasted on national television is a good time

Personally I liked the cowboy from last night that said he'd never really been out in public before and that he'd only ever sung in front of his turkey.
I cannot believe they put him through. Amazing. |
