It was me Mama - and no, we have cox cable. We just ran over to the computer and checked the internets. The ending was up on Youtube already (since we are PST)
so we just watched it a few minutes later. There was certainly some yelling and swearing at the tv though.
I would have been happy either way. I think they are both so uniquely talented, in my mind it was anyone's game and it didn't matter who won. I think DC felt that way too after an interview I read with him yesterday on EW Online, but I think the win meant a bit more to Archuletta.
As far as DA's dad is concerned, they showed him a couple times and he was happy, smiling and clapping. I don't know if he's as awful as the media makes him out to be. Overbearing and a bit controlling of his son (who's still a minor) maybe, but homicidal maniac who will do anything to get his kid famous, he is probably not.
