I watched this the last coupla nights. I'm not sure why. It's remarkable how many people think they can sing. Sometimes, this show is hard to watch. The embarrassment factor is so huge.

In Cali, we've only seen two so far, neither were Katherine McPhee. Starting kind of good, I think. Didn't like the second girl, what was her name? Rebecca Donhue?

Trudy, I started watching it again tonight after missing all the Hollywood episodes. I'm a big fan of Paris and this other girl who's name escapes me (her mom is the singing teacher). Can't wait to see the guys tomorrow! I don't even know who's still in.
Let me say that the one tall, stringy-haired former opera singer girl tonight was god-awful. I have a hard time believing she has any vocal training or that she will "bring it" next week. Please. Oh and yes, Becky O'Donaghue is gorgeous, but doesn't have a prayer. Too bad. |

Agreed on both counts. The "10" girl bugged me.

I think Paris is adorable and what will likely take her far is that personality of hers. Same goes for Mandisa, who I also like. Rebecca Donohue and opera girl were awful. Kelly Pickler (girl whose father is in prison) was not good tonight either but I think she's already a fan favorite.
More often than not, my ears were bleeding tonight. |

Erika, what did you think of the girl that's so "out there" Brenna, I think her name is, the one who Simon said sang Stevie Wonder's "Sunshine of My Life," was too safe?
