So, two questions:
1. I'm a teacher for the state of Florida and I currently have a 403b (what we have to do as state employees, rather than the 401K). I'm wanting to up my allocations and think about redoing the way my investments are distributed to hopefully beef up my portfolio. But too, I'm a single person and can't afford to take too many financial risks with my retirement nest egg.
Anyone have a good resource for reading up on how these plans work and/or sound investment strategies?
2. One of my goals this year is to improve my savings plan to get a bigger nest egg going. I know in the next three years I'd like to buy a condo or something and will also probably need a new car.
I am wondering if any of you have used any good budgeting/financial planning software or have any good financial planning resources to recommend.
