So, I was listening to Don't trust myself and I just realised, when he says "Me or the thought of me", it sounds like someone with a real strong
lisp saying "Me or the sodomy".
Damn, that's a tough choice.

Warmup for tonight's appearance on the Tonight Show... Chris Botti has a "behind the scenes" vid up on his website called "Track by Track
with Chris" - there's a couple of nice rehearsal shots, and he tells a short story about how John came to choose "Glad To Be Unhappy." I
don't think you can fastforward - but if you watch, it's after he talks about "Flamenco Sketches."

Lovely rendition, I think. He took the first verse MUCH quicker than he did on "In Boston" but I don't think it detracted. He definitely threw in
some more vocal runs - I don't think he was trying to go all Buble on it but he did fancy it up a little more than the first time. I think it's
apparent that Botti and Mayer like working with each other -- whenever we've seen them together it seems like a really natural collaboration.
And I don't mind saying it... hotDAYUM does that boy know how to rock a tux...they both looked very dapper last night but JM, as always, took my breath away. I love it when Johnny the Crooner comes out to play.

I looked earlier this morning also and found nothing. It was a fantastic performance.
And I get that John was being gracious and taking turns, but it really should have been billed as "John Mayer featuring Chris Botti". In my opinion, "Chris Botti featuring John Mayer" would be Chris playing, with John on backup guitar. No big deal. I understand that they were taking turns. John's voice sounded WONDERFUL. It throws me off a little when John doesn't have his guitar, but I love Chris Botti. He did look dapper in his Fuxedo! I thought he was going to do his
jumping up and down thing for a minute. He looked really nervous at the end. Sweaty hands and all those handshakes...
