I wonder if we'll ever get a serious full band live version of Say. I don't really count the half drunk one on the cruise. As a guitar player, I know the song is in somewhat of an awkward key. Bb. Listening to the song it sounds like he's using a capo, which he most likely is. In the video he's not, maybe because it doesn't look good in the shot. I don't know. But I play it with a capo on the third fret and chords as follows, G- C- Em7- D. Bridge, Am-C- D. Outro. Em7-G-C. Maybe this helps. |

Personally Kristy. I thought it was charming...not everything has to be perfect as far as I am concerned. I really enjoy the mistakes...makes it feel more real
for me.

i found this confirmation and figured i'd post it:
from this link. i think it's kind of silly, but i guess re-re-releases are commonplace these days. like some people said upthread a while ago, i hope it's not tacked on to the end of the album. that would feel really out of place to me, especially since say was presumably written at a different time than the album itself. ~jocelyn

I really doubt they would waste money for multiple hundred thousand extra discs to only have one track on it

i hear ya, miguel. it's not that i thought they'd print a whole extra CD for just one song. it'd just feel strange to me to have a version of
continuum go from i'm gonna find another you to say.

No doubt about that.
I just thought now would've been the right time to release Continuum as a Dualdisc, that way we get the Say video on the DVD side and some other goodies. Hmm, maybe in a couple of months

I finally saw The Bucket List last night...awesome movie! But I think John got ripped off with the song only playing at the end...
There were so many great instances in that movie where the song playing would have been perfect. As it was I had a hard time getting my people to stay for the credits and listen to the song! My folks both listened, but everyone else skedaddled out of the room as soon as the movie ended. I'm sure that at the movie theaters it was the same way. Oh well...still, wonderful movie, lovely song!

Funny since it isn't really part of the movie (cause yes, only the Mayer
fans and families of folks who worked on the movie are going to sit through the credits to hear it)... but I guess it speaks to what the movie is about well.
I haven't seen it yet, it's in my Netflix queue... looking forward to seeing it though, glad to hear you enjoyed it.
