I made mine... Cost me like twenty beans. All you need is wood and Velcro. If you have more than four pedals you need a pedal board.

I think it would be harder to take around if you don't have a board. Google "homemade pedalboard" to get some ideas. You can get very fancy or
like bdam said, wood and velcro.

real velcro can get pricey.

Velco is pretty pricey but making a board is way cheaper than buying one. Also you can customize it to fit whatever you have...

Cheaper than velcro and much stronger, but you will need a set of "tin snips" (really big, heavy duty scissors) to cut it. Also, cleaner than zip
ties. I think it's called "duct hanger" or something like that. Get it at Lowe's or Home Depot. It comes like a roll of tape. Also comes in
plastic, but go for the metal. For its strenght, it's relatively easy to manipulate and I didn't have a problem attaching it to the bottom of all my
pedals. The TS and AD are only attached at the top, but they still aren't going anywhere.

I run a Katana, 808, Compressor, BD-2 (all by keeley) then a t-rex replica into both my amp and a tu-12 that's on all the time. Powered by a DC-Brick and
sitting on a pedaltrain jr.
For all intensive purposes it's the Trio pedalboard with a few slight modifications. I love it though. Every pedal really is worth the money in my opinion. |

Wow, that is pretty much amazing. I'd like to think I could get to a point someday soon where I have "my perfect pedal assortment." Most people
are obsessed with new pedals like me so it's hard to imagine that time. But maybe if that happens I would take the time to do something along that line. At
least something that was a really clean look like that.
Amazing pics. |

See that's the thing though. I wouldn't want to be permanently tied to any pedal line up. That's why I would think that a MIDI setup like the CAA
RS-10 that John uses or a Ground Control unit would be much better. I mean, for David Gilmour who is only playing songs that are 20-30 years old and won't
have any new songs that require new effects, something like the above is great, but for someone who is writing new material and experimenting with different
effects, it's clearly not the way to go.

That is impressive. I can barely even build the box let alone that.

what's the run down on those pedals callen? i see the wah, vol, uni-vibe, and ts-9. whats the blue one and the washed out one?
|

the blue one is a headrush, a 4 head delay, tape echo and loop station. the one washed out is just a korg tuner. In the next two weeks I am going to replace
the ts9 with 2 fulltone ocd's.
