The producers must have gotten wind of how difficult menswear was when they did that challenge two seasons ago where they had to design for each other. I think
they let pattern making go because everyone was practically at their wits end with making a pair of men's pants and were simply freaking out. And they had
good reason. Menswear is all about tailoring. You cannot drape a man, so these designers were forced to have to know how to design and sew.
But it seems as most people needed help with the shirts and not the pants. Sweet Pea's shirt was a joke and she should have just had her model come out
with a tie, no shirt and the pants. I would have been more proud of that then that fucked-up lavender poncho she wanted to call a shirt.
I don't know who Kit styles on E! but if it's Juliana DiPandi (forgot her new last name) and Debbie from the Daily 10, she's doing an awesome job because they always look good.
