It wasn't on any As/Is recordings; he did play it on the radio once in 2004(?) ... that must be the clear recording you heard. There's an Eddie's
audio floating around that's pretty clear but technically that doesn't exist

I was wondering if anyone caught the lyrics to the outro on the performance of In Your Atmosphere ( or LA Song as the setlist suggests).
All I understood was - Wherever I go
Wherever I go
Wherever you go

Thanks! That's great. Very clever - wish I had written them.

I have a feeling we'll see these lyrics again, he's known to recycle lyrics and road-test them. They have a Every Breath You Take vibe. This
is truly my favorite song of John's. I'm Really glad it was captured on video professionally.

anyone notice that the guitar melody is the same as the chorus of "say"? thought that was interesting.

Is there anyone who has a decent recording of this, other than from Saturday's show, and is willing to pass it along or share it? MP3 or not, I'll
take anything that can be tossed my way. Just let me know - thanks!

Oh, Debbie - I wasn't trying to offend you!! As a whole, the show was very good - you did a great job! During this particular song, one guy's screaming
hurt the recording. I can't blame the guy for getting excited and making noise - its a great song. You obviously had nothing to do with it, the minor issue
isn't at all reflective on you or the recording. It's just a "dent," so-to-speak. Just as everyone else, I've been enjoying the
recording! Many thanks!
Debbie = Dominant. You rule for helping me and so many other folks out with this stuff out (I guess John would consider it as spreading his love - so he'd probably be appreciative of it all as well). -Adam |

I was just joking with you..I understand what you are saying ... anymore i am just happy that it wasn't some girl screaming comfortable or I want your
baby...

Part of the lyrical phrasing at the end of the verses reminds me of "Big Yellow Taxi," specifically the "...paved paradise and put up a parking
lot" part. I really like the guitar stuff on this song.

I noticed that he DID do something uniquely different and spacey with his strumming. It sounded like heaven.
Wonder if he could reach Joni's vocal range. He'd have to clamp something tight. Whoopsies, there goes my mouth again. . .

When JM asked for an mp3 of the LA Song, I sent him one with the same outro he played at the Charity Revue. I heard it years ago and I just think it is
beautiful.
Had he played it live before? Had anyone heard it before 12.8.07? Just curious.
