it's going to sound completely staged and unnatural, which might even make her performance worse! Yikes! I empathize with her stage fright fear because I
also hate getting up in front of people, but I don't think this is the way to get over it. John should give her some jokes or something.....

Yea, it's a weird request. But I did tell her that she should talk about behind the scenes stuff, funny things that happen on the tour bus or during the
day. But I mean, it's up to her to make those things interesting!

Okay, So I am a few days late. I was at the meet and greet...if you could call it that. He got there a little bit late because of some party. Then there were
two other meet and greets behind us, so we didn't have much time. He just asked for the person's name, signed whatever they had and posed for a
picture. Everyone got a program, not everyone had them signed. Poor guy, he does the best he can. The new fan club lady told us Jen was indeed there, and I saw
her at the side of the stage near the beginning of his set.
The security guys tried to keep the people away from the front, and for the most part it was people that had front row seats. They went through checking for arm bands and sending people away. They didn't seem to care about the people that crowded into the second row though... The two girls up front had some outdated pictures of John that he signed for them. He signed pretty much anything people put up there. I saw one ticket, and some lady asked him to sign her arm (he put an X). It really was a great show. He seemed so goofy at the beginning, and happy. Thanks so much to the tapers. The guitar man threw out the rest of the pics as he was packing up -- first time I have seen him do that. Also I think I saw RY maybe...long sleeve pink shirt? or am i just delusional? |

I had to laugh at the Colbie request. I guess it's an attempt to be more interactive, but if you are asking your fans what to do on stage, you're in trouble. How can you pleasantly surprise anyone if they chose what was going to be said/done? Good luck to her, though...

If I can make a gathering, great, if not, I'm just glad that people are having fun. Nothing like a party to bring up the spirits...as you drink spirits. Ya think that's where the connection is? post-poned....for now anyway. But, I definitely think I get infused with spirit when I drink spirits! I probably get a little too spirited sometimes!! Mayer
