yeah, i was kinda weirded out that half his ass was hanging out the entire show. big ups to DRH for rocking the seersucker, glad i wasn't the only one haha
When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur. I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world! I made my arms short, and I roamed the backyard, and I chased the neighborhood cats, and I growled and I roared and everybody knew me and was afraid of me. But then one day my dad said "Bobby, you're 17. It's time to throw childish things aside." And I said, "Okay, Pop." But he really didn't say that, he said "Quit being a fucking dinosaur and get a job." |

Journal entry on JM.com show page from John:
I've heard some people say that Jones Beach was great but Camden was off the charts, but I think that all depends on how you like your shows. Camden had a bit more abandon, but on a musical level, in terms of where it all flowed from, Jones Beach kept the pace a bit better. Just depends on how you like your concerts. I'm learning to take my time on songs that I know not everyone in the crowd may know by heart. Wheel is becoming a sort of abstract exercise. Loving it.

I'm glad John was happy with the Philly/Camden show. I thoroughly enjoyed it myself (understatement).

Docoboc,
This by far was the best mayer concert that I have been to! He was definitely very loose and seemed to not want to stop playing all night. If this was an earlier show, I bet he would have kept on going. Like he said, he must be pissin some people off with playing so long, oh well! I just wish I could download the torrent. For some reason my computer will not give me access to the bit torrent exe program once it was downloaded. Kevin |
