I feel like my house is rolling on the ocean. It was awesome that JM gave Debbie a shout out about the tapes she puts out. We all owe Debbie a big thank you! It was super cool coming from the man himself. I took a ton of pictures but a lot of them didn't come out. I'll post some of them tomorrow. We sat next to Ken Heile and Andy from Sixthman one morning at breakfast. They had a funny conversation about how JM's drinks would be paid for. I guess just like the rest of us his drinks weren't included. The two of them talked about paying for drinks when John bought a drink for someone etc.. Ken decided to use his Sign and Sail card to take care of the drinks but he said something like he wanted JM to know that the card was only for drinks and not for buying watches in the gift shop. I thought it was funny. John's management team discussion was fun too. Sorry if someone already wrote about this stuff. They talked about the borat bating suit from last year and the Gumball 2000. Funny stuff. I missed JM's standup set because I went to see OAR. They put on a good show. I did go to the disco when JM DJ'ed and that was fun. Oh well back to the real world tomorrow. Ginger

Still rocking....like people said, the seas were really rough. We had it soooo good last year with a pretty smooth ride. He said there would be one next year!! Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	i am beyond exhausted and i totally feel like i'm still on the boat. i'll write more tomorrow (or later today) but the bookends of my trip were david hasselhoff in first class on my flight to LA and ryan from guster, along with his wife and adorable baby on my flight back to NY. he boarded after me and i was already listening to my ipod (guster, inspired by the boat). last year was awesome, this year topped it easily and next year in alaska (or something - there's a v.3 in the works). inherently awful balance/coordination and yesterday's rough seas don't mix well, jocelyn

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	The only thing that I'm thinking of, is just how beautiful, exciting and crazy that this entire 5 day cruise was. I met some cool people, had tons of fun doing things that I've never tried, I watched flip cup for five minutes, listened to great music, had my first honest to God hangover and I liked every bit of it. Sure, there are some things that I wished I could have done differently. Like remembered to get people's emails or numbers, but I'm happy. I stopped recording for that film class and I'm glad because I got to see a bunch of cool things that will last me until Alzheimers kicks in. The 4400 fricking rocks as a show.

I thought what he said about Perez was hilarious although there are better ways to shut him up like smash a chair in Perez's face. Perez Hilton is a mean spirited douchebag that's only funny when he's trashing the celebrities that I don't like. Anywho, I've only been home for an hour and I still feel like I'm on that damn boat. My ears are stuffed up from the plane ride and I've had a total of almost zero sleep in the last several days. Yeah, this was the BEST DAMN weekend EVER!!! I had no expectations going into this trip except to hang out with my friends (all of whom I met because of John Mayer's awesomeness). My BFF even asked me to be her maid of honor this weekend. I wouldn't have known her if it wasn't for Mayer's music. I got to be apart of so much of the high lights of this trip that I'll never look at another Hormel cheese platter the same way again. Everyday just topped itself. My friend and I got to each ask a question at the Q&A. I asked him what performers he would like to work with and my friend asked about his management. The nice lady I talked to before the Q&A asked Mayer about his foundation. I loved Mayer going into how he wants to help the soldiers returning home. He's such a good hearted person and when I think I can't like him more he does something to make it happen. I really enjoyed his cover of Peter Gabriel's "Digging in the Dirt" (one of my favorite songs) from Monday's show and hearing the new song on the Lido Deck. Seeing Mayer rock a pair of short shorts was interesting too. I also enjoyed his djing skills until the wee hours of the morning. Oh yeah, he played the Stones a couple of times!!! I also loved he played that Bobby Brown song from the Ghostbusters II soundtrack and Digital Underground The late night "Don't Stop Believing" sing along then sing along to it again was fun because it's Journey. I met a lot of really nice people especially the girls at the James Smith/DRH show. However, the best part of the trip were the towel animals at the end of the night...okay not really but they were really cute. I went last year and had a great time but this year topped it and then crushed it.
