Cait, he used it for "Heartbreak Warfare"in the first show but this pic is from the second show and he didn't play that.
Libby edited to add...I obviously took too long to research that...room is still rocking and my brain is on PST. I'm going to regret this tomorrow morning! Stop This Train still hasn't finished uploading...urgh!

So I'm not sure why he's acting as if he doesn't know who she is." So I guess they didnt know each other...or was John just teasing her? I dont get it

No, Dela is playing with Dave Barnes. Sean Hurley has been John's basist since the last tour, he was there in full force doing a superb job as always....

I heard a rumour that Debbie was the inspiration for city love.
I'm Irish if that matters

CaitSings wrote:Hey Cait, I think he played it on Crossroads during the show, too. I know during the soundcheck he started with the red guitar, then decided to play it with the black. The black guitar sounded so good that I have a few short video segments of him using it on Crossroads. |

Night one was the black tank top, right? He used that black guitar for one song, told a little story about it, how when he got bored in music class at Berklee
that he would pick the lacquer off and you can still see the spot on it where he did it. He sort of showed it to DRH. I don't remember the song but I
think it was toward the end. Sorry I have to refer to it as the black guitar but I'm not very good at makes of guitars unless I see the writing.
Wow, I feel worse today than ever. Headache, still spinning, hoarse throat and I rarely yell unless it's a great blues riff. Told you I was too old. |

I already yelled at her about the watermarks. She's probably telling Debbie to put a "Recorded by Debbie Ocoboc, bitch" voice-over in the middle
of every song she uploads so no one shares it without knowing whose file it is.
After listening to both of these shows once through, and hopefully several more times today at work, it makes me wish I had even considered going on the cruise. i'm not jealous of any of you who were there or regretful that I didn't go, i just wish I could push the world back a little and be a selfish john mayer fan a little more often. i haven't seen a john mayer show in almost two years for both geographical and financial reasons and I miss the hell of out what that feels like. listening to these shows almost puts me on the boat with all of you and that's the best feeling in the world. thanks to all of those who shared their experiences and their media, we all appreciate it very much. we bicker a lot on here but there's barely been an off-word from anyone in the past couple weeks and that rocks. we long for the music we love and when we don't have it, we search for what's not there and all we find is each other. in reality, that's exactly what we're looking for, but we don't realize it at the time and it leads to dispute. all it took was a few days on a boat, a few concerts, a couple new (and great) songs, and we're back to being whatever it is we are; that rocks. Thanks guys |

ZOMG!! iwanttofallasleep wrote:no, that whole spiel was about his SRV guitar he bought when he was working at the gas station which is a strat. definitely not the guitar i posted the picture of.

i've never seen him play the black guitar. someone in the musicians forum would have to identify it's make and model and all.

Nice post Brian, I will expect the snarky Moles back but for now that earned you a big fat awwwww in my book, yes I know I shouldn't get used to it...but can I just say best post ever... debbie
there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt
every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres
