Well I guess and I should revisit this topic again since little to almost no improvement has been done to the L83 exclusive website. Aside from a small, low quality pics from a few gigs of the current US tour, nothing more seems to be relevant on that website which doesn't look update. The news section is fair, but hey, we could get that same info elsewhere.
For me again, having this membership seems to have only one single benefit - get better seats when JM comes to your town and that's it. I've been a member of a few other fan-clubs and boy... they are MUCH MORE active and willing to please the fans. Things like sweepstakes, exclusive access to live videos, interviews and audio recordings are commom themes. Here I think, L83 has a long way to go. Sorry if this sounds too wining, but I'm frustated with the quality A, I expected. Even the RS magazine hasn't arrived yet (> 2 months). Finally, doesn't any know if any member here would have a closer connection to the people responsible for the L83 website? It would be great if you could support me in a movement to improve that. What do u think? |

I got my login and password right away...but nothing has
arrived in the mail...course it's only been a few weeks. Yeah, after reading this thread I agree that John needs some more attentive folks to be running this thing...Lets start a petition or something! Other fan clubs rock_Red Hot Chili Peppers to name one of them! Now those people know what to do for their fans! They are very active...and it's worth it. Maroon 5 is another one that does good stuff for us fans_it's just been a little quiet lately cuz we are waiting for new MUSIC! Soon. Very very SOON! |

i just went to the website and under the login screen i clicked on "need id/password?" and then i just put my email address in "forgot password" and they sent me the password in an email. after you get it you can go in and update your information.

This is my first post here. I've been lurking here for awhile but I wanted to say that I'm not happy about L83 either. I joined last week and got my confirmation email with username/pw and when I go to log in it says invalid. I tried the get id/forgot pw and it said my email was not registered. I've emailed them twice and have gotten no response. I'm getting pretty pissed bout this. If I pay for something I would like to be able to use it!

Call them @ 800.594.8499. They will answer your questions.
I had to call them today b/c I received my confirm. e-mail stating my tix for the 10/13 Atlanta show were shipped BUT the USPS tracking numbers are incorrect. When I go to track them, the status shows a delivery was made back in April in an entirely different state. They stated this problem is affecting everyone. But, they assured my tickets were sent out and will receive them. The tracking must be a computer glitch. The show is two weeks away and this is not reassuring. |

Seriously, the more we probe into this L83 membership problem, the more mistakes, disorganization we find...
Since english is not my first language, I'd rather ask for someone's help to elaborate a petition online focusing on a couple objectives to improve L83 membership a) organization of tickets purchase/distribution in appropriate time frame and guarantee of A1 quality seats for L83 members b) Rolling Stone maganize subscription to be delivered within time website - updates of exclusive pictures (with better resolution), sweepstakes, exclusive access to live videos, interviews and audio recordings. |
