So, as I was driving back from Atlantic City last night, I got to one of the many (and there are way too many) toll booths and I went to pay for the toll and the gal working the booth asked me if I was John Mayer fan. Keep in mind, it's not like my car was decorated in John Mayer or something and I said, "Yeah, he's great." And she said, "You'll never believe this, but his bus just passed through our toll" at which time I replied, "No Way! How cool is that?" It seemingly made her night.

It seemingly made her night. that's awesome, RY. i'm sure it gets pretty damn boring out in toll booth land, and i can see that making someone's week~ also, woohoo to wheel. that one hits me really hard. i've only heard it 2x, but it closed out the '04 ('01-'04, really) summer tour and i thought nothing could top that. i'm intrigued about last night's version. ~jocelyn

I liked what I could understand, but at the end he kept repeating something that I couldn't understand. I hope that taper posts here. The story of the toll booth makes me think of this adorable girl we met in line who accidentally pulled up to the employees entrance and saw all the buses and trucks parked. She told us "IsawthishugetruckwithhisfaceallthewayarounditandIwasfreakingoutbecausehisbuswasrightthere! AndmaybehewasinsideandIdidn'tknowwhattodo!!"

I always almost accidentally go in that way when I'm driving to Borgata and trying to get the self park. The signs are very confusing and come up very fast! It's how Jersey rolls.

We had the best time ever! 5. John read 3 of our 4 signs out loud. The one he didn't read outloud referred to his secret eBay ID and I think I might have freaked him out a little bc I know it! ANd I disagree with the dis of One Republic, I thought they were dynamic and exciting, WAY better than Colbie Callait, who I had to sit thru 4 times this summer! And their cover of FOR WHAT ITS WORTH was really fun! Please refrain from posting negative stuff about John's family. I don't enforce too many rules here, but I think that's 1 area that just doesn't belong. Thanks.

But not totally sad because Wheel is one of my favorites too. It's just that Clarity is the best end of summer song and I didn't hear it at any of the other shows I went to this summer. Oh well, maybe next summer!
