There's a cheesecake factory not too far from the venue. I always hit that place up after the show. On weekends it's open till 12. There's one in West Palm too...but West Palm has every imaginable restaurant so you can just drive around till you find something.

Sad, sad, sad....Go ahead and rip the sign if it makes you feel important "Jester", I just wanted to tell John that his "fans" have his back. If that's too much to stand (10 seconds in between a couple songs while everyone is anxiously awaiting the next song and clapping) then I will make sure to tell the whole crew that the idea of making a stand for John and this whole ridiculous paparazzi thing is completely foolish. Although, on the other hand he still will have fans like you who believe that a stand up propaganda in his name is diminutive in comparison to having a sign block your precious view for 10 seconds. Also, where I come from you don't need your eyes to listen to great live music, so get over it. Mayer looking out into the audience and seeing a pool of signs that say "We got your back John", I don't think thats worth a rip at all.....I actually think it might make him feel good. I honestly think everyone at this Tampa show should do it. It would be a show for him to remember, but I didn't dare say it before because of this particular reaction that was indeed expected. Do you not get enough attention at home? Save the drama for someone who has the energy for it.

When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur. I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world! I made my arms short, and I roamed the backyard, and I chased the neighborhood cats, and I growled and I roared and everybody knew me and was afraid of me. Nice way to bookend my Mayer concert going career, dinner with friends at the Austin cheesecake factory, and solo cheesecake as the road comes to an end.
