When I was a kid, when I was a little boy, I always wanted to be a dinosaur. I wanted to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex more than anything in the world! I made my arms short, and I roamed the backyard, and I chased the neighborhood cats, and I growled and I roared and everybody knew me and was afraid of me. But then one day my dad said "Bobby, you're 17. It's time to throw childish things aside." And I said, "Okay, Pop." But he really didn't say that, he said "Quit being a fucking dinosaur and get a job." |

I think maybe some people are confused as to why you created a whole new thread when one already exists.

Holly, you might want to check out the rules that are stickied at the top of this forum. And

Casey in the Random Thread answered your question: Alright. so I was at the saratoga show and ended up meeting two 9-year old twin girls who were sitting right next to us. (Theres actually a shot of them with the setlist on L83!). Their dad was really into John, and I figured they were simply tagging along, but my friend and I got to talking between OneRepublic and John and they were actually legitimate John fans! they really wanted to hear Stitched Up which I thought was cool. So we were actually having a lot of fun with them and stuff during the concert and two things happened which I really didnt understand or condone. One of the girls let out this scream in a pause between John singing and starting a solo, and this lady next to her, turned to her and gave her the dirtiest look ive ever seen! Then, the other girl screamed I love you John in a break between songs while he was reaching for another guitar, and this other lady in front of us turned around and said "Um, we ALL do. Thats why were here." I mean, come on people. If you are going to come and sit in the FIRST or SECOND row of a concert, dont act like that. please. I felt like it was awesome that these young girls had such great taste in music and could appreciate something ......... |

Totally realize that it probably came off wrong to anyone who had not read. I can't be that bad, it would be like dissing my mom (who also enjoys
Mayer...just not in the way that would make her scream out I love you John!). I've actually gone to a few shows with my mom!
