thanks marlow. when i lived in boston, berklee kids were required to buy a new mac computer as part of their tuition...i don't see why one of them
can't just bring in the computer and sit in your lap? surely somebody has some kind of smaller recorder, too. ok...i'm done. :-P i'm crazy jealous
of people going, clearly.

prob impossible. However, It'd be cool if John actually reads our question from the forum and posts his answers. would be cooo. Of course, it would have to be questions that no one but john could answer.

Many thanks to Megan & Josh from the Berklee College of Music in Boston for the following info:
Singer, Songwriter and Guitarist John Mayer will be giving a clinic in the Berklee Performance Center on Wednesday, October 8 at 1 p.m. This will be a ticketed event. Tickets will be available at the BPC box office starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 6. Due to the anticipated popularity of this event, there will be a one ticket limit per Berklee ID. This event is not open to the public. Also, congrats to Berklee students Liz Longley and Ali Rapetti, who got selected to write a song together with John. Hopefully we'll get to listen in. :-) |

Ha, Tomo told me John was gonna come here this week and do a clinic about a week ago, but I wasn't allowed to tell anyone. As far as who decides when John
does clinics at Berklee, it's totally up to John. Tomo told me he just contacted the president of Berklee and told him he'd be in Boston and hoped he
could do a clinic. Tomo also told me that they're gonna be hanging out in Boston on Wednesday after the clinic. I'm pumped, Tomo said he was gonna tell
John he has a student who plays a Cypress Mica and has the same problems he did when he was at Berklee (me). Also, the clinic isn't open to the public
unfortunately.
