Haha, I like it. While I do feel like he keeps saying the same thing over and over again, it still grabs me each and every time and knocks me out.. Maybe after
7 years I still suffer from some form of blind fandom that can't accept any sort of fallibility, but I don't really care. If I still get a kick out of

and he's back. Right now I don't care if it's hype or not. He pulls this stuff
out of his ass when I start to doubt him, I can't count how many times he's pulled me back in when I have started to leave thinking he's reached
the asshole status I can't take anymore. One more thing Mayer and I am outa here.
But see the thing is I want this to be true just like every time he pulls this crap. I want to be proved wrong, drawn back in. I want to believe the hype and embrace it, because I truly love the music and I don't think there is anyone out there whose lyrics and all, touch me like his do. So take me back John, pull me back in, I'm ready for a new album, I'm ready to go hook line and sinker. I'm ready to be impressed, and awed and in love again. Just like every album. I'm ready to believe the hype. I was really really far out on the ledge this time, probably the furthest that I have ever been. I had my key on the table and was ready to shut that door forever. Don't disappoint me now. I'm old, I may not be able to recover again. debbie
