It's very French Revolution, which I suppose goes along with the whole battle idea, but I doubt JM is trying to channel Napoleon. Also, That's the same font the Ovid Butler Society uses for its logo. OBS is a stuffy board of people at my university and I couldn't really tell you what they do other than bear the name of the school's founder. John, don't you remember you're supposed to be on love with Helvetica? Ha. Where'd the modernist in you go? 2) John Mayer's pedantry is not easily matched. Didn't somebody speculate one time that JM suffers fro Asberger's? Well, anyway, that is beside the point. When it comes to culture, especially the personal culture that is attainable with the aid of our ridiculous amount of technology, Mayer's inner-nerd is inspiring. Again we see the emergence of the last-guy that we all love so much in Mayer, i.e.: Pokemon, comics and strange analogies I can only imagine were tweaked for nearness in proximity to perfection. There is one safe resource, the return to nature.."; which is in fact taken from a book dating back to 1870, entitled...that's right...Battle Studies! Ha, random but just thought it was interesting just how far in advance he plans those album titles!
