I'm starting to wonder if this album will actually come out in 2009. I think we can definitely rule out a Sep release now because according to his latest
tweets he"s still in the songwriting process. If it were coming out in Sep we'd already have a release date by now. I'm not complaining, I was
just thinking about the time table on this the other day and realized that a Sep release just isn't going to happen. This just gives me more time to save
up for the album & the tour!

September won't happen. I was thinking a Christmas release which would bring in a lot of money. I am still hoping for a summer 2010 tour.

I personally think fall is still possible. He is done by now, I guarantee. It's already been in production/writing for a year. Over a year. I say he s in the songwriting mood, and these songs that he is still writing will become our "Sucker" and "Tracing" and "The Hurt" type songs. Theyll be unreleased/bonus. "Cats are cute. I would disagree. He was still talking about the last three songs just a little awhile ago...and besides this is Mayer we are talking about...Do you honestly
think he would not twitter...I'm done with the writing? And even if by the off chance he is done, which I
highly doubt, as I think he is having a really rough time getting these last few songs out? He would do the production and then listen to them as a whole and
see if he still wants to write one or two... See if it is cohesive. I would think he would want to know what the record company thinks...after all we all
remember WOTWTC.

I agree totally that the album's not done. John invited us along for the ride with the Battle Studies blog, Twitter, and has even provided a preview of
what we can look forward to with (authorized) raw musical material ... I don't think he'd deprive us the details about the album's
completion/release. I bet he's looking forward to it being done just as much as we are!

I wish he would release another one of those Battle Studies videos, or post something about the album in the Battle Studies' blog. It's been a while
since he last done any of those.
I doubt he's done with the album. And I don't think he's waiting a hit to finish the album. I'd say Half of my Heart will be the hit, first single and etc. Maybe he's waiting for the Battle Studie's Wheel. I just wish, like I've said, that he would really show more about the process. I get so excited whenever he posts a video, a picture, or even a tweet or blog post about the whole production-recording-writing thing, that it's silly.
I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. Sorry for any english mistakes!

I don't see what's the big deal about him twittering. Five (or so) twitts a day don't take much time for someone as quick-witted as John is. I
don't buy any of it. I would venture to guess that something more profound is going on, though no one really can possibly know what. Suggestion - patience
