Seems to me hardly anyone plays a song on their own at the Grammy's anymore... at least for the last few years, I think they've been making a point of putting different artists together... one year I remember it was young and old artists, other years I'm not sure if there is a pattern, and some of the combinations work better than others.... but it seems to have stuck. Not gonna complain at all about him playing with BB and Buddy, though! Grammy's just became worth watching, in my opinon.... not that I wouldn't have watched anyway.... And I'm pretty sure he played Daughters at the Grammys with Pino and Steve... first time I remember hearing Daughters "electric"... can't remember if it was a shortened version of the song or not... ~Elizabeth

Don't have an opinion one way or another about Keith Urban. But, while I'm not a huge fan of country music, I've always thought that the Brad Paisley version of Daughters (on the Crossroads show) is the all time best version of the song... well it's my favorite version anyway. It makes a damn good country song. Of course, Daughters is not one of my favorite Mayer songs, either, so not a big stretch to prefer it as a country song. One of the cool things about the Grammy's (and there are alot of things that aren't, haha) is that they usually have a pretty good variety of people performing... kind of fun to see lots of different sides of music. It will certainly be interesting to see how they work Keith Urban in with BB King, Buddy Guy and John Mayer.... ~Elizabeth

It'll be great to see John with BB and Buddy again, but I'm really excited to see Urban up there too, just for a new and different combination. And I actually was a big fan of the Crossroads with Brad Paisley. Even if you don't like country music, he can shred a guitar too... -drew. It will be something to see how they arrange the song to bring out their best guitar playing
