I've played one at the local GC, and I didn't think that it was going to be as cool as it was. Auto tuning, de-tuning and re-tuning on the fly was
pretty cool. I'm sure its not $4k cool, but interesting nonetheless.

Nope. That's the 1997-2000 Woodstock Olympic White Lefty Strat. Its a left-handed Strat strung and mounted for a right-handed player... here's some

BUT, from that Ebay photo - something is wrong. I'm unaware that they made any right-handed strung lefty models, and the sticker positioning is wrong. So, buyer beware. The Proto has a reverse belly cut, a contoured bottom corner by the amp jack, and its a faded Oly White... Its technical name is the "Fender Custom LTD Reverse Closet Classic" http://wildwoodguitars.co.../sz4098099/sz4098099.php So, there you go. Yeah, I just looked again. The sticker threw me - and I didn't see the rest of the pics at the bottom. That sticker comes on the Hendrix Woodstock Tribute
that I posted, I'm pretty sure that its not a stock item on the VooDoo strat in the EBay listing... Either way - the answer is the same - its not a
'Proto'.
