that is way old, from 11.23.05 @ the bowery ballroom in NY. i had a seat on the balcony that night and had a bird's eye view of that superfan.

I hate when someone in the audience gets that much into it, and you're standing right next to him/her. I know it sounds rude, but it ruins some of the
spirit at a concert.

I am probably in the minority here, but this is all over the web and all I can feel is sorry for this girl...I don't find it funny at all.
how must she feel? I mean all she was doing was gettng into some music she loved...Some of the comments on the sites are horrific. debbie
there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt
every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres

I haven't posted here in a long time, and just checked in to see how it was going (hi Jules! hi Debbie!), but WTF? This is a person enjoying herself at a
concert and you guys, who are fans of Mayer, are making fun of her?
Wow, time to leave again. Schadenfreude at its worst... maybe it will be you next time
Yeah, I will pull the stick out of my ass and go back to the real world. Liza edited for speelllling |

A clip of that girl was on some show I saw the other day on tv. Not sure what it was, but it was their end clip. I remember seeing her when watching the live
webcast of that show. She cracked me up, but aside from that she's all good. We all dance like retards when we get into the music and forget we're in
public. I'd much rather stand next to her than in front of the groups of people that are so drunk they don't even care about the show anymore, which
happens at every show I'm at.

I feel bad for her, too, but I have to admit I laughed when I first saw this years ago. Every year has it's own "Star Wars kid." That's one
bad side-effect of the "YouTube generation." Some unfortunate things that happen just once end up being repeated forever.
This clip always reminds me of my feelings when I learned that the Holiday 2007 show would be taped. I'd look at my ticket... and think of this video. lol Admittedly, I did "tough guy pose" for the first 20 minutes of the show before I felt like a massive douche and loosened up. I'm nowhere to be seen on the DVD (thankfully). |

What is the point of this??? Why single someone out, Jonny???
Stupid post on a fan site where you are potentially insulting someone who may post here. And no, it is not me!!! Mods take this down!!! |

Jesus christ, don't take it so serious. I bet the girl would laugh her ass off if she saw how funny she looked....it's hilarious

I think you guys are overreacting. Dear God, she knew this show would be on the internet and that's just the way it is. She even got interviewed
afterwards.

That all might be true. She might think this is the funniest thing ever, however I doubt it. I am going to err on the side of good taste and just playing
the golden rule here.

The moms for Mayer are *suddenly* sticking up for someone? When did that start? You ladies are the "Mean Girls" in real life on the MSM board.
What's going on? Maybe while you moms are having some sort of change of heart you should appologize to all the people you have terrorrized on this board.
If not, then don't act all high and mighty and get into your mob mentality to go after the person who posted this. Practice what ya preach! If you care
about THIS fan's feelings then you should care about mine as well as everyone else's on this board!
Stay off my back too, damn it! But that bridge has already been burned, so I don't know how much good it'll do...

So far she hasn't done anything to piss me off...I am giving her the benefit of the doubt...
and that is all I have to say about that.

Gosh, this is an old video.
And Jonny posted it for the same reason that people like to post links to the Fan Fiction etc., because it makes them feel better about themselves to laugh at others. I mean, it's no reason to act holier than thou or anything because we have all laughed at others' misfortune at some point, I agree, but I think the stick has been poked at this video far too much and we should leave the poor girl alone already. I can't imagine how embarrassed she must have been. |
