Part of the reason I put this particular song is just so you could see the strat. that is a '58 made for Eddie Celtro, of "Flying Saucer Boogie" fame. It has a gold anodized pickguard, a off-white blond finish, and a solid rosewood. not a rosewood cap, but solid Rosewood which it is, to date, the only guitar made by fender with a solid rosewood neck (that is known of). the ones close to it are the "Lost Hendrix Rosewood Strat, with a capped neck, the jaguar stratocaster, with a solid walnut neck, and the rosewood teles, with capped necks.

this one is a FCS replica of it, done as a custom run. the original was one of two made in 1967. one was a prototype for a signature model, and the other was the presentation guitar, hand-made for Jimi (which mysteriously disappeared after the press conference and was never accounted for. the prototype is around today and in the hands of a collector.)


but anyway, I'll scan more pics of the strat the guy is playing. it is featured in "The Stratocaster Chronicles"
