I've mostly been shaving, but as of lately, the hair seems to be growing back at an exponential rate. And that Nair stuff gives me a rash and leaves me smelling like one of my mom's 80s perm parties. In particular, does anyone have any tips about the "hard to reach places?" Or should I just suck it up and go to a salon for that. I'm just a little embarrassed about lying naked on a table face down while tiny asian women snicker and pour hot wax all over me. (but apparently, i'm not embarrassed by talking about it here.) sincerely, Harry Sitchuwashun

Actually, i think I'm allergic to it. I tried Nad's hair removal strips and they actually seem to work. It did leave me a little red though. As for the more private areas, I think doing that professional is best. And trust me, I'm Asian, they aren't laughing at you. that's a stereotype. *~These are a few of my favorite things~*

Its pretty awesome....just be careful. Wouldn't you know, you just happen to have asked the right person. My tip for you is to just stick with shaving for those "hard to reach places" rather than trying to wax by oneself (once you get the wax on.. if it hardens before you gather the courage to rip it off, it's going to be a lot of snipping and painful single hair pull outs, haha, trust me on that one) Really though, if you're gung ho about it and are a do it yourself-er, definitely go through the trouble of locating and purchasing a professional hard type wax (these are stripless, as in no muslin strips are necessary and they're much gentler on those sensitive areas of skin) Good luck Harry , hope it improves. And honestly, if you care to know, I happen to be one of those people who find body hair generally attractive on a man. May I suggest just sticking with an electric trimmer with a guard? Muuuch easier and safer too.
