I actually went ahead and bought 1 of each of the posters, since they're limited edition and only 5 bux a pop (pretty cool that a couple of them only had 200 total produced). Those posters are not going to lose value when they're priced at $5 a piece!

Here's how I justified it: With shipping, I paid $36ish for four tshirts. That comes to $9 per shirt, which is better than the $25-$30 they were charging at the venue. PLUS I didn't have to waste my beer-getting/beer-drinking time waiting in line at the merchandise stands.

REALLY GOOD DEALS... I've been waiting for the polkadot hoodie to go down in price, and now it finally has! yessssssssssssss! PLUS getting the freebies was nice too! even though I'm sure I'll sell one the JM glasses on ebay... I'm pretty sure I can bring my pair of those 80's glasses back into style hahahaha

How do 12 posters equate to almost $40 in shipping (and standard shipping no less)? Posters don't even weigh anything!

I bought four or five shirts for 30 something, and then got slammed with almost $20 on shipping and handling charges. I opted for the 5-7 instead of 7-10 because it was like...50 cents more but still, it shouldn't cost that much to ship T-shirts. I basically rationalized it the way others did, that most of the items were at least double what they cost previously and it still was worth it. Are the shipping charges normally this steep though? I've never bought from them before.

Posters don't even weigh anything! i have to get shipping quotes @ work often and part of it is based on the shape of the box - UPS charges more if it's not a "standard" shape. however, it's ridiculous that the cost of shipping went up with EACH item added to my cart. that is totally NOT the way shipping actually works, unless they use the US postal service. i almost bought the "lost MSG" shirt, since i went to that show and it was awesome. but i really couldn't justify spending more than i already was, especially with the shipping charges. at first i thought they had it automatically going to the most expensive (like they used to do with tix), so i clicked to scroll down. no dice. ~jocelyn

That is where they make their money. Shipping is very little, but what is left over goes in their pockets. Ever see one of those infomercials. They give you two or three of the product for one price but you are charged shipping and handling separately for each item, thus multiplying your shipping and handling by three even though they are shipped in the same pkg. debbie there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres

It should have been more like "Mega Crazy Insane Blowout! (but we're soooo gonna getcha with the shipping and handling charges!!!). All that matters is that I FINALLY got my "Windy City Love" tshirt after bugging Scotty for weeks. And I waited him out and paid only $5 for it! Well, $5 plus the $800 shipping and handling.

My company used to double that and add $5.00 handling to cover the materials, time and equip cost of sending the suff out. I had some things picked out, but have a really hard time justifying such a high percentage of the overall sale going to transportation charges. When I shop online I always search for coupon codes first, and many stores have ones for free shipping. Sometimes a 5$ Tshirt just isn't really a 5$ Tshirt. I usually wear a medium, so the girl's T I ordered will probably not go over my boobs! Oh well. Paid the exhorbitant shipping and handling.
