I know I'm late on this but I just wanna say that for sure most Chinese made products are shit. My grandfather is Chinese and he always tells us to stay
away from their stuff cause it sucks.
And fuck sweeping generalizations of people based off of where they live. |

I cannot believe that you guys trust the same people that brought you the postal system to deal with healthcare. The government has no business in private
industry and needs to get the he'll out of my pockets.

And it starts back up...the only thing that prevents me from saying what marlow said is my trip to india last october. I was staying in the "mall capital
of india". I mean these were really nice malls, very high end retailers like Tiffany's, Dolce, you get the idea...anyway, the city was a complete
piece of shit. There were people dead all over the streets (i am not exagerating here), people burning shit in the streets mixed with their garbage, 3 year
olds walking around with 1 month olds, in the most simple terms= a gross look at life. there is not barrier in india from the very rich and the very poor. in
the US, we have a very thick barrier and do not get to see this a lot.
ever since i came back here, i think to my self, that my taxes have got to be protecting us from that way of life somehow. Even if it affords someone US funded housing, so i dont have to look at all their trashy mud huts they created right in front of my house...im thinking those funds are well spent. Trust me that there is something to elevating the poorest of society. You think people on welfare are desperate criminals? just wait to see what they are like with no aid----yea, go to india and you will see,. |

Ever owned a business? I trust the guy that I hire to do something because I have the choice and an agreement with that guy to do a good job. I don't have
that with my government - they've been screwing me over for years. Besides - open market competiton weeds out the weak links. being told where to go, and
who to see and then what you can buy there isn't exactly my idea of freedom. Your all entitled to your separate opinions - but I believe in free will and
personal choice. Denis Leary was right - I want to be able to do what I want when I want, an how I want - and that should be no ones business but mine if
I'm not hurting anyone. Besides - we've got free healthcare now. Insured or not - hospitals cannot turn you away. It's truly a shame that other
places on his planet don't have the same access or the quality of living isn't the same that it is here - but do you blame tiffanys or the indian
government for that shit?

''it does matter if they're standard of living is mud huts and rice paddies. Why shouldn't their standard of living go UP, instead of ours
going down.'' Because standard of living is an economics term that relates the concept of how much money you need to live... so that statement
doesn't really make sense. The amount of money they are paid is based on the supply and demand for labor. Like I said, the only problem is when the
licencors are squeezing the manufacturers and they in turn abuse employees.
